If your legs feel heavy after a day of laps at Mission Ridge, a long climb up Saddle Rock, or a hard run on the Apple Capital Loop, compression therapy might become your new favorite recovery habit. It's one of the simplest, most relaxing services at Regen + Wellness, our social performance wellness club at 105 South Mission St in downtown Wenatchee, and it's included in every day pass.

What Is Compression Therapy?

Compression therapy uses sleeves or boots with air chambers that inflate and deflate in a rhythmic pattern, usually starting at your feet and moving up your legs. The sensation feels like a firm, steady squeeze, often compared to a massage for your legs. You simply sit or recline while the system works.

Pneumatic compression has been used for years by professional and college teams, endurance athletes, and physical therapy clinics. In a wellness setting, people use it to relax and help their legs feel fresher after hard efforts. Research is still evolving, and compression therapy isn't a treatment or cure for any medical condition.

Who Uses Compression Boots in Wenatchee?

  • Skiers and snowboarders after long days on the mountain.

  • Trail runners and road runners training for races or logging weekly miles.

  • Hikers coming back from the Enchantments, Colchuck Lake, or the Sage Hills.

  • Cyclists and mountain bikers after rides in the foothills.

  • Hockey players and team athletes between games and practices.

  • People who stand all day at work and want their legs to feel lighter.

What to Expect at Your First Session

Getting set up

Wear comfortable clothing like leggings or shorts. Our team will help you slip into the boots and choose a pressure level. Start on the gentler side for your first session.

During your session

You'll feel the chambers inflate and release in sequence. Most people find it deeply relaxing. Read, scroll, chat with a friend, or close your eyes. Tell our team if the pressure feels too strong.

After your session

Get up slowly and notice how your legs feel. Many people follow compression with red light, a sauna session, or a stretch.

How Long Is a Session?

Every day pass includes a 30-minute compression session. That's a comfortable length for most people and easy to fit into a busy day.

Which Day Pass Includes Compression?

Compression is included starting with our Basic day pass ($39). For reference, here's what our day passes include at the entry levels: Basic ($39) covers the gym, 30 minutes of compression, 15 minutes of standing red light, whole body vibration, and a massage gun. Basic Plus ($69) adds a 15-minute communal cold plunge, the coffee and tea lounge, a 15-minute massage chair, a 15-minute Woojer vibroacoustic sound bed, and 10 minutes of Halo salt therapy. Supercharged ($99) adds a 40-minute communal infrared sauna and 10 minutes of ozone therapy. Supercharged Privacy Relief ($199) lets you choose a communal or private plunge and sauna and adds a B12 shot.

Our higher tiers, Ultimate Pain Relief ($279), Superhuman ($349), and Royal Unrestricted ($449), layer in services such as infrared laser, PEMF, vitamin shots, the hot tub, steam sauna, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Inclusions vary by pass, so call 509-888-2918 or ask at the front desk to confirm which pass includes the service you want.

If you'd like compression several times a week during ski season or race training, a membership is usually the better value. Membership details and pricing aren't published online. Stop by the club at 105 South Mission St or call 509-888-2918 and our team will walk you through the options and help you pick what fits your routine.

Building a Recovery Routine Around Compression

Compression is a great starting point for a recovery visit. Some popular combinations:

Who Should Check With a Doctor First?

Compression therapy isn't right for everyone. Talk with your doctor first if you have a history of blood clots or deep vein thrombosis, circulation problems, heart conditions, diabetes with nerve or circulation issues, open wounds, recent fractures or surgery, or are pregnant. This article is for general information only and isn't medical advice. Talk with your doctor before starting this service, especially if you're pregnant, take medications, or have a heart condition, blood pressure concerns, or any ongoing health issue.

Compression for the Whole Season

In winter, compression helps skiers keep coming back to Mission Ridge. In spring and summer, it's a favorite for cyclists and hikers. In fall, trail runners and team athletes use it during race and game season. Whatever your sport, it's an easy habit to build. Browse the full services page for more ways to recover.
