Halo Salt Therapy in Wenatchee: Breathe Easy and Relax
Salt therapy, also called halotherapy, is one of the most relaxing and least intimidating services at Regen + Wellness, our social performance wellness club at 105 South Mission St in downtown Wenatchee. If cold plunges sound intense and saunas sound hot, salt therapy is an easy, calm place to start.
What Is Halotherapy?
Halotherapy comes from the Greek word "halos," meaning salt. The idea traces back to salt caves and salt mines in Eastern Europe, where people would spend time breathing the air. Modern halotherapy uses a device to disperse very fine dry salt particles into the air while you relax and breathe normally.
Research on halotherapy is still limited, and results vary. Salt therapy isn't a treatment or cure for any respiratory or skin condition. We offer it as a calm, comfortable wellness experience.
Why People Try Salt Therapy
Wenatchee residents tell us they enjoy salt therapy:
As a quiet break from a busy day.
During dry winter months when indoor heat and cold air leave them feeling dried out.
After outdoor adventures at Mission Ridge, in the Sage Hills, or on the Columbia River.
To unwind before or after a workout in our fitness zones.
As a gentle first service for people new to wellness clubs.
What to Expect During a Halo Salt Session
Before your session
Wear comfortable clothes. There's no need to change into a swimsuit. Let our team know about any respiratory conditions.
During your session
Relax and breathe normally. Some people notice a slight salty taste. Most people simply rest, meditate, or let their mind wander. Sessions in our day passes are 10 minutes.
Afterward
You can head straight to your next service. Some people like to drink a glass of water afterward.
Which Day Pass Includes Salt Therapy?
Ten minutes of Halo salt therapy is included starting with our Basic Plus day pass ($69), along with the cold plunge, coffee and tea lounge, massage chair, and Woojer vibroacoustic sound bed. For reference, here's what our day passes include at the entry levels: Basic ($39) covers the gym, 30 minutes of compression, 15 minutes of standing red light, whole body vibration, and a massage gun. Basic Plus ($69) adds a 15-minute communal cold plunge, the coffee and tea lounge, a 15-minute massage chair, a 15-minute Woojer vibroacoustic sound bed, and 10 minutes of Halo salt therapy. Supercharged ($99) adds a 40-minute communal infrared sauna and 10 minutes of ozone therapy. Supercharged Privacy Relief ($199) lets you choose a communal or private plunge and sauna and adds a B12 shot.
Our higher tiers, Ultimate Pain Relief ($279), Superhuman ($349), and Royal Unrestricted ($449), layer in services such as infrared laser, PEMF, vitamin shots, the hot tub, steam sauna, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Inclusions vary by pass, so call 509-888-2918 or ask at the front desk to confirm which pass includes the service you want.
Membership details and pricing aren't published online. Stop by the club at 105 South Mission St or call 509-888-2918 and our team will walk you through the options and help you pick what fits your routine.
Pairing Salt Therapy With Other Services
Salt therapy fits nicely between more intense services. Try it after a cold plunge, before the infrared sauna, or alongside red light therapy. Finish with a warm drink in the cacao coffee lounge. See all our offerings on the services page.
Who Should Check With a Doctor First?
Talk with your doctor before trying salt therapy if you have asthma, COPD, a lung condition, high blood pressure, a fever or active infection, or any ongoing health concern. This article is for general information only and isn't medical advice. Talk with your doctor before starting this service, especially if you're pregnant, take medications, or have a heart condition, blood pressure concerns, or any ongoing health issue.
